Dr. Thin Sandar Khine
Dentist
Dr. Thin Sandar Khine is a compassionate and highly skilled general dentist at Smile For Me. Born in Yangon, Burma (Myanmar), she earned her first dental degree from the Yangon University School of Dental Medicine in 2007. Her passion for advanced dentistry led her to the United States, where she continued her education while preparing for a U.S. dental program. She completed a Dental Technician certificate at Pasadena City College in 2016, became a Certified Dental Technician, and later earned admission to the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. There, she completed the advanced standing program in 2021, earning placement on the Dean’s List and receiving numerous honors, including the Quintessence Award, multiple education grants, the Tennyson Study Club Award, the Vocational Service Award, and the Pillar Scholarship.
Dedicated to expanding her expertise, Dr. Khine completed the Implant MaxiCourse and passed all required examinations to provide comprehensive implant treatment. She remains active in her profession as a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). Known for her kindness, gentle approach, and commitment to high-quality care, she enjoys offering a wide range of dental treatments to support the health and well-being of her community.
Dr. Khine’s inspiration for pursuing dentistry began early in life. Growing up with limited treatment options and uncomfortable dental experiences sparked her desire to create a better, more compassionate environment for patients. With the encouragement of her father, she entered the dental field and quickly realized she had found her true calling. She finds fulfillment in helping patients feel confident in their smiles, restoring oral function, and transforming dental care into a comfortable and reassuring experience. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, cooking, teaching her daughter, arranging beautiful bouquets for loved ones, and exploring new cuisines. Dr. Khine values patient feedback and continuously strives to provide exceptional, personalized care with every visit.
